My name is Barbara Boyer

The year 1999, began the Myotherapy Center's journey in Purcell, Oklahoma. In 2024, the Myotherapy Center Of Oklahoma (MTCO) school was opened. Prior to moving to Oklahoma I owned and operated Basic Bodyworks for 7 years in Crete, Nebraska. I have built my massage business with a loyal following and I still continue to work today. Over my career, I have noticed an increase in our public demand for massage therapy. With the automation of many jobs I feel there is a need for the trade schools to offer more career opportunities. I felt the need to open MTCO school to pass on my knowledge accumulated from countless hours of continuing education classes and 35+ years of clinical experience. I would like to share my experience with students who have the desire to offer a much needed service to help others while creating a successful business in the health field. I have been given an opportunity to work with incredible Physicians, Nurses, and Emergency Medical Technicians who will serve as instructors for a portion of the course work. It is our desire to provide you with a complete and thorough education that will enable you to pursue your dream of becoming a valued member of the Massage Therapy community.
